According to THR, DEADPOOL is currently tracking to open with $55 million over the long Valentine's Day and Presidents Day weekend, however it's not clear if the estimate includes Monday's numbers. Some think Ryan Reynolds' passion project could go even higher, and hit $60 million in its box office debut.

That would be pretty damn impressive, especially for a reportedly low-budget R-rated comic book movie based on a fan-favorite, but not necessarily well-known, character. Although I imagine Fox will be extremely happy if that does end up being the actual first weekend total, it'll be very interesting to see how the film will perform in its sophomore outing at the box office. How much do you think DEADPOOL will earn in its first and second weekends?

DEADPOOL will face off against ZOOLANDER 2 (which is tracking to open north of $20 million) and HOW TO BE SINGLE on February 12, 2016.
