Saint Maud Blu-ray, DVD release coming in late November

Last Updated on October 22, 2021

It’s been a long wait for fans of writer/director Rose Glass’s possession thriller Saint Maud who have been hoping to see the movie get a DVD and Blu-ray release in the United States. The movie got a theatrical release in the US at the end of January and then was available to watch through Epix in February, but months have passed without the movie going to physical media. Thankfully, the wait is almost over. Saint Maud – which got a physical media release in the UK way back in February – will be available on DVD and Blu-ray in the US on November 30th. Amazon is taking pre-orders at THIS LINK.

Starring Morfydd Clark, Jennifer Ehle, and Lily Knight, Saint Maud follows

Maud (played by Clark), a newly devout hospice nurse, who becomes obsessed with saving her dying patient’s soul — but sinister forces, and her own sinful past, threaten to put an end to her holy calling.

Special features on the Saint Maud Blu-ray and DVD discs will include:

A Higher Calling: The Rapture of Saint Maud

We have two reviews of Saint Maud: JoBlo’s Matt Rooney gave the film a 9/10 review and called it “unforgettable”; you can read his review HERE. Our own The Iceman also gave Saint Maud a positive review, saying it’s “one of the best movies of the year”. You can read that review HERE.

I haven’t seen Saint Maud yet myself, and usually wouldn’t be in a hurry to watch an A24 release with a plot synopsis like that. It doesn’t sound like it’d be up my alley – but the reviews we have are so positive, I’m going to have to check it out.
