Legendary's upcoming adaptation of Nancy Springer's "The Enola Holmes Mysteries" series is still putting the finishing touches on its cast, and THR has reported that Sam Claflin (ADRIFT) and Fiona Shaw (Killing Eve) have joined up.

"The Enola Holmes Mysteries" deals with Enola Holmes, the younger sister of Sherlock and Mycroft. After the mysterious disappearance of her mother, Enola discovers elaborate ciphers which she left behind and takes off to London when Mycroft insists on sending her to boarding school. Once there, Enola begins solving her own mysteries, much like her brother. Millie Bobbie Brown (Stranger Things) is set to star as Enola Holmes, with Helena Bonham Carter (The Crown) playing Enola's mother, and Henry Cavill (The Witcher) as Sherlock Holmes. Unfortunately, there's no word on who Sam Claflin and Fiona Shaw will be playing in ENOLA HOLMES, but I'm sure they'll make fine additions to the cast. Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag) is directing from a script by Jack Thorne (His Dark Materials) which reportedly revolves around a missing teen whose father has been murdered. I smell a franchise.

Sam Claflin will next be seen in Elizabeth Banks' upcoming CHARLIE'S ANGELS film, which is slated to hit theaters on November 15, 2019. As for Fiona Shaw, the actress was recently seen in the second season of Killing Eve.
