Sam Raimi has just dropped a nugget of horror gold during some press rounds in London for his upcoming OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL.
I would love to make Evil Dead 4. My brother and I plan to work on the script this summer.

It’s only two short sentences but my god do they carry a lot of weight. You had to know after producing the remake that it would get Raimi itching to revisit that world himself and bring us the long awaited EVIL DEAD 4. Obviously, this doesn’t necessarily mean it’s happening and it could still be a LONG while before we hear anything on this in the future but it’s certainly enough to get excited about.
