The biggest issue people seemed to have with the recent remake of CLASH OF THE TITANS wasn’t the special effects, the script, or the acting, but rather the crappy conversion the film went through to make it 3D. Most people f*cking hated it and preferred the 2D version, which in all regards, is pretty ridiculous. It should be the other way around.
No one feels this way more than star Sam Worthington, as he starred in possibly the best 3D looking movie of all time earlier in the year… then in one of the worse. Yikes. He recently sat down with ComingSoon.net to chat about the upcoming CLASH OF THE TITANS 2, and had some reassuring things to say about how the film will be shot from day one. Check it:
[It] will be 3D this time. Shot in 3D. Do put that in and make them f–king aware… In regards to the conversion, I’m a Jim Cameron boy, so people know my opinions.
And there you have it…CLASH OF THE TITANS 2 will be specifically shot and made for 3D. Good! That should make it better in just about every way possible than its predecessor… or at least it’ll look better and won’t be as headache-inducing.
Worthington also revealed some tidbits about the upcoming re-issue of AVATAR with its extra 8 minutes, and even a smidgen of an update with regards to the film’s sequel.
