Eduardo Sanchez (THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT) has announced on the Haxan Films site that his next project is picked and just about ready to start shooting. It’s called PROBED (the mind boggles at the possibilities), and while he doesn’t give up tons of info, here is the meat of his news:
We are currently in pre-production on a film called PROBED. Can’t tell you much about the story but you can pretty much figure some stuff out from the title. It’s horror. There’s a monster in it. It’s not going to be shot by the actors.
We will be starting principal photography in May at Universal Studios in Orlando. We are casting right now and have plenty of other news to report so we’ll try to keep you all in the loop as much as possible.
Sweet! Not only was I a big fan of TBWP (having been fortunate enough to see it before it completely saturated the media), but also in a hometown kinda way, I’m psyched for Sanchez because he only lives about 15 minutes away from me!
So go forth and kick genre ass, Eduardo! I’m rootin’ for ya!
