Remakes are all the craze these days. Doesn’t matter if it’s a remake of a classic (DAWN OF THE DEAD), or just an o.k. movie (THE LONGEST YARD), they seem to be everywhere. Let’s face it- they’re hot right now.
So when a Bloody Disgusting reader reported that on an interview with funnyman and all around pimp-daddy Adam Sandler, Sandler dropped a line about doing a another remake, it should have been of no surprise… except who would have expected a remake of this?

Yes. You read right. A remake of ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES with Adam Sandler! Most times, I give a big F-U to remakes, but this one… sheeit, how can you not be excited? And if George Clooney busts out a cameo… I’d be nothing but smiles.
