Sandler does Horror?

And you thought Adam Sandler movies were ALREADY scary? Turns out the idiot man-child/multi-millionaire is about to get downright terrifying, as he’s delving into the horror genre with a new shingle called Scary Madison, an offshoot of his successful Happy Madison production company, which is responsible for things like THE BENCHWARMERS, DEUCE BIGALOW, and DICKIE ROBERTS: FORMER CHILD STAR… Of course, those aren’t the successful ones, the movies actually starring Sandler make all the money.

The first project is SHORTCUT, which centers on two brothers who come upon a rarely used shortcut in their new town — and soon discover the reasons why it’s so rarely used.

The flick was written by Scott Sandler and Dan Hannon, and will be helmed by Nicholaus Goosen (director of Sandler’s GRANDMA’S BOY).

Scared yet?
