It was just yesterday that I told you all about the first casting news regarding David R. Ellis’ upcoming flick SHARK NIGHT 3D. Nothing too groundbreaking but it’s nice to see things finally start to move with this one! Well folks it seems things are moving quicker than we thought because here we are 24 hours later and I’ve already got another SHARK NIGHT 3D casting update for you all!
According to the folks over at Variety, the always adorable Sara Paxton (right) will be joining the film along with Dustin Milligan and Katharine McPhee. The trio join the previuosly mentioned Sinqua Walls, Chris Carmack, Alyssa Diaz and Joel David Moore in the feature.
The story revolves around seven men and women who spend a weekend at a lake house in Louisiana’s Gulf area. When their vacation quickly becomes a nightmare of hellish shark attacks, unheard of in freshwater lakes, they soon discover that the sharks are part of a sick, greedy plan on the part of several locals.
Ellis and company are gearing up to kick off production in Shreveport, Louisana later this month so we’re sure to have some more updates for you soon! As always as soon as we hear more on SHARK NIGHT 3D we’ll be sure to pass it along to all of you!
