SAW IV poster!

The boys over at

Movieweb
have somehow scooped up the latest promo poster for SAW
IV
(seen above) and I must say that I’m just slightly disappointed.

I’m not a huge fan of the

SAW
franchise, although I really dug the first one. With this
said I will admit that their marketing has usually been pretty good and frankly
one of the reasons I usually don’t bash the whole series. I especially liked the
posters (example seen below) that Lionsgate ran when they had the blood drive
for
SAW III
, so it disappoints me at how little
effort they seen to have put into this piece.

For those of you who haven’t been following
along, SAW IV will be as follows:

Jigsaw still haunts the living in Saw IV, forcing
them to appreciate life, or face death. As a continuation of Saw III, Jeff must
find his daughter and escape the building to which they are confined before they
both die. After finding another tape of Jigsaw, Jeff realizes there may be a
newly added piece of the puzzle that he must decipher before it’s too late.

What are everyone else’s thoughts on not only
this poster, but this franchise? Yah or nay? Spit bullets below and let’s hear
it.
