Altitude holds the worldwide sales rights to the upcoming survival thriller SHARK BAIT, which has been described as "SAW meets JAWS".

Set to be directed by Sean Lahiff, making his feature directorial debut, SHARK BAIT was written by Willie Hynd and has the following synopsis:

When four backpackers embark on the experience of a lifetime off the Australian coast, cage diving with a Great White shark, they quickly realize their lives are in the hands of a far more dangerous predator.

Another synopsis that's floating around online goes like this:

A deranged shark conservationist traps four backpackers in a shark cage to feed them to her favourite great white shark.

Lahiff has previously worked as a visual effects editor on films like GREEN LANTERN, THE HUNGER GAMES, PROMETHEUS, GRAVITY, and THE PACK. He has also edited such films as THE DARKNESS, CARGO, and WOLF CREEK 2. He returned to the WOLF CREEK franchise to edit some episodes of the TV series as well.

We'll keep you updated as more information is made available on SHARK BAIT.
