Saxon Pelts Meat

Now that MASTERS OF HORROR SEASON ONE is on DVD, I’ve been able to catch up on some pretty good horror lately (as I’m poor and don’t have Showtime). After checking out a few, I began to get excited about SEASON TWO, which should deliver on DVD what SEASON ONE already has.

Today Fangoria scored some interesting news: John Saxon, he of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET fame, has signed on to star in director Dario Argento’s MOH entry PULSE… right along side Meat Loaf!

“I’m playing the trapper who sells the pelts.”

I have no clue what PELTS is about, or why it’s important that Saxon sells them to Meat Loaf, but what I do know is that Argento + Saxon + Meat Loaf = one hell of a good time! I can’t wait!

I don’t know what it is about Saxon, but the guy’s always seemed to be ‘higher quality’ than some of the roles he’s given- but he’s made a career as the chief/father figure of the NOES series, and if that’s what you’re known for 50 years from now, that ain’t bad… ain’t bad at all!
