Now THAT’S what I’m talking about!

Last month I had the distinction of bearing bad tidings to y’all…breaking the unfortunate news that the great Bruce Campbell’s part in OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL had been chopped. No biggie on the surface, as roles get cut all the time, but when it was done by the hand of Bruce’s best pal Sam Raimi…bummer all around!

But all for naught my friends! If we’re to lend any credence to what Mr. Campbell tweeted recently, his role may be in the film after-all. Peep what he had to say about his involvement with the film:

“The scene that I shot was a page [of the script] and it took all day. It was great to see the scope of Oz and to see the detail, and the craftsmanship and the professionalism and the incredible stuff that they’re doing visually in every other way. I play a pivotal role. It involves me and Oz – that’s James Franco – and let’s just say that we have a confrontation. It was a very fun role to do actually.”

A must see now, isn’t it? How can it not be?

Due March 8th, 2013 – OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL stars James Franco, Mila Kunis (below), Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams, Abigail Spencer, Zach Braff, Joey King.
