Steven Soderbergh has a new film coming out next month with CONTAGION, however until then it seems the man has found another job. Production Designer Eddie Mills and Electrician Chrys Blackstone for THE HUNGER GAMES both outed Soderbergh via Twitter as to his involvement with the film.
The Playlist confirmed the speculation, and yes he is in fact doing 2nd Unit work on the film. Interesting to note that THE HUNGER GAMES director Gary Ross and Soderbergh are good friends, and have helped each other out over the years. It seems like a solid idea, and having input from someone like him certainly raises my interest in the film.

THE HUNGER GAMES is due out March 23rd of next year, and it stars Jennifer Lawrence (below), Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, Wes Bentley, Toby Jones, Lenny Kravitz and Donald Sutherland.
