Is that the Pan Flute being filtered through a synthesizer I hear? Yes my friends, David Duchovny was talking X-FILES 2 at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
According to USA Today, everyone’s favorite Fox said he spoke to series creator Chris Carter earlier in the day about the follow up which is scheduled to shoot late this year or early 2006. And the news is good…at least for genre fans.
“It’ll be a stand-alone horror movie,” Duchovny said. “Mulder and Scully investigate one particular case that has nothing to do with alien life. It has to do with supernatural stuff.”
I personally thought the show was at its strongest when dealing with darker, scarier stuff anyway. Besides, for those who give a rat’s ass about whether Mulder and Scully ever hook up, ghostly possession is always a great way to get a deniable lay!
