The latest Scary Movie is now available to watch at home! Paramount Home Entertainment has released Scary Movie – Extended Cut on Digital today, July 21, giving fans an expanded version of the horror comedy featuring new scenes, an alternate ending, and a collection of behind-the-scenes bonus features. What’s new in the Scary Movie Extended Cut?
According to Paramount, the Extended Cut features additional jokes, new scenes, and an expanded version of the film that “pushes the comedy even further than audiences” saw in theatres. Maybe this version will be an improvement over the theatrical release, which JoBlo’s own Tyler Nichols gave a 5/10 review, saying laughs were nonexistent.
The official synopsis reads:

Directed by Michael Tiddes, the film reunites franchise favorites Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris, and Regina Hall, with returning cast members including Kenan Thompson, Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Carmen Electra, Chris Elliott, Anthony Anderson, and Cheri Oteri.
The ensemble also includes Teyana Taylor, Damon Wayans Jr., Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Sydney Park, Gregg Wayans, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, Cameron Scott Roberts, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, and others.
