Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark hits Blu-ray in November!

Guillermo del Toro and André Øvredal's adaptation of Alvin Schwartz and Stephen Gammell's SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK hit theaters near you earlier this year. And today we've learned that the family-friendly fright flick will be hitting Digital next month and 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD via Lionsgate in November.

Nice. I somehow missed the flick when it hit theaters earlier this year and so I fully plan to snag a copy when it hits Blu-ray next month. After all, we need to support family-friendly horror flicks, am I right? Of course, I am. Bring on ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK: THE MOVIE!

SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK is directed by André Øvredal from a screenplay written by Dan Hageman & Kevin Hageman based on a screen story by Del Toro and Patrick Melton & Marcus Dunstan based on the series by Alvin Schwartz. Del Toro, Sean Daniel, Jason F. Brown, J. Miles Dal, and Elizabeth Grave produce. The film stars Zoe Colletti, Michael Garza, Gabriel Rush, Austin Abrams, Dean Norris, Gil Bellows, Lorraine Toussaint, Austin Zajur, and Natalie Ganzhorn. It hits Digital on October 22, 2019, and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on November 5, 2019.
