The writer of THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE prequel, along with an episode in MASTERS OF HORROR, David J. Schow, chatted with Fangoria about his upcoming horror projects- and it’s music to my ears so far!

Camera’s are scheduled to start rolling this September in Texas on the prequel, directed by Jonathan Liebesman. No word yet on who’s set to play Leatherface, but he did say that R.A. Mihailoff was in the running.Mihailoff played the man with the chainsaw in LEATHERFACE: TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE III.

And what about MASTERS? His script entitled ‘Pick Me Up’ is set to be directed by IT’S ALIVE’s Larry Cohen! No casting yet, but camera’s roll in a few weeks in Vancouver.

I’m curious to see how they pull this Pre-MASSACRE deal off, but with the guy who gave us DARKNESS FALLS behind the camera, I don’t see any good coming out of it.
