Scorpion King 2?

Shock Till You Drop scored the heads up today that director Russell Mulcahy, who helmed the upcoming RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION, has signed on to direct THE SCORPION KING 2 for Universal Pictures!

You may be thinking to yourself, ‘Yo! Last time I checked, THE SCORPION KING sucked!’, and you’d be 100% right. But money talks and bullshit walks, and the original KING brought in around $90M, making it a certifiable hit. Not to mention Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson becoming even a bigger star since he sported the long hair and sword some 5 years ago.

No word on how ‘official’ this news is, if it’ll be theatrical or STD, or if The Rock will even show up for a second time around- just that Mulcahy, who also directed HIGHLANDER 2: THE QUICKENING, is up to bring it to life.
