Scorpion takes on Daffy Duck in official WB animation

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

No one should be happy about media conglomerates massively gobbling up properties like an ersatz, rabid Pac-Man…but sometimes it can yield fun results. For instance, we've seen WB do some interesting things with their properties, whether it's the videogame MORTAL KOMBAT VS. DC, the Looney Tunes meeting the Justice League comics, or Scorpion fighting (and possibly killing) Daffy Duck.

Yes, that actually happened. And in an official capacity as well, rather than a Newgrounds-esque Flash spoof or throwaway FAMILY GUY gag.

Uploaded by YouTuber Jason Nguyen, you can see the (again, official) animation of Daffy Duck running amok on on the WB logo…until Scorpion pops out, belts out his classic "GET OVER HERE!!!" and drags Daffy – presumably – to the Netherrealm. Though not like Daffy hasn't been somewhere like that before…

Awesome. Also, this introduction is a part of the feature animated film MORTAL KOMBAT LEGENDS: SCORPION'S REVENGE (though I imagine we've already seen the best part). Either way, here's the official synopsis:

Based on the worldwide hit game created by Ed Boon & John Tobias, Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge spotlights the once-in-a-generation tournament between the champions of Outworld and Earthrealm – a competition that will ultimately determine the fate of Earth and all its citizens. Lord Raiden, protector of Earthrealm, must gather the greatest fighters of his realm to defend it from the evil Shang Tsung in the battle to end all battles – Mortal Kombat!

Meanwhile MORTAL KOMBAT LEGENDS: SCORPION'S REVENGE is out on DVD/Blu-Ray and VOD right now (BUY IT HERE)!
