Back in January we got to take a peek at the upcoming Blu-ray art for Scream Factory’s DOG SOLDIERS which, at the time, was scheduled for a release that would have it hitting shelves this summer. Unfortunately, that could be the last we see of this one for a very long time as Scream Factory took to their Facebook page to lay on some craptastic news.

Due to unforeseen issues on clear ownership of the rights, we are forced to move the title off of its planned August 26th release. Rest assured, we are doing everything we can to work out a solution to bring this back into our scary fold but, as of now, the street date is undetermined and there is a strong possibility of it moving to early 2015.
As always, we will keep you guys posted on any developments. Our apologies again.
It sounds like they’re being pretty optimistic about getting the ball rolling on DOG SOLDIERS once again, but we’ll have to wait and see when/if this one will ever get the glorious Scream Factory treatment it deserves. Bummer!
