Way back at the beginning of last month, Mr. Ammon let the black cat out of the bag on VH1’s upcoming SCREAM QUEENS reality contest. Back then, full details on the series were a little sketchy other than the grand prize would be a major role in an upcoming Lionsgate horror film… but now we’ve got a big ol’ beautiful announcement regarding who will be judging the contestants and more! Check this:
Horror writer/director extraordinaire and all-around fun guy, James Gunn (above) is on tap to judge along with Jigsaw’s gorgeous accomplice, Shawnee Smith (below)! Judge number three will be acting coach John Homa. But that ain’t all…
Each of the three judges will be performing Double Duty on the show as well! Smith also will serve as host, while Gunn will direct the contestants’ performances, and Homa will serve as the contestants’ acting coach.
All in all, SCREAM QUEENS is shaping up to be one kick-ass ride! I’m definitely down for it. With judge casting like this, VH1 clearly is serious about producing a quality product. The eight-episode series is slated to debut this fall.
