Screen Media acquires Ana Lily Amirpour’s The Bad Batch for 2017 release

Ana Lily Amirpour's cannibal fairy tale THE BAD BATCH is on its way to the States! Although Netflix previously acquired streaming rights for the flick, Screen Media has acquired theatrical distribution and plans to bring us Amirpour's sophomore feature sometime during the first quarter of 2017. 

Says Amirpour: "The Bad Batch is truly a cinematic experience, which needs to be seen on the big screen,” Amirpour said in a statement. “It just won’t be the same on a small scale and I’m excited to release it with Screen Media, who totally gets that.” Check out a clip from the film below!

THE BAD BATCH is:

a dystopian fairy tale set in a Texas wasteland where a girl (Suki Waterhouse) wanders alone into a band of cannibalistic drifters.

THE BAD BATCH also stars Jason Momoa, Yolonda Ross, Giovanni Ribisi, Diego Luna, Keanu Reeves, and Jim Carrey.
