Ah, backwoods horror hillbilly tales just wouldn’t be complete without copious amounts of weed! In the new horror indie, STASH, said smoky substance factors right in, of course. However, it ain’t the main, freaky attraction. I’m not sure whether to just direct you straight to the trailer of the flick that we have for you below, or give you the skinny on the plot. Well, I’ll just say this: if you really want to be like what the F?!, then go straight for the trailer. Bud’s a good ole’ boy brought up on Bluegrass and Moonshine. While supplying the surrounding counties with its Marijuana supply, Bud has a hefty growing operation. However, this is not Bud’s only secret. He has a much darker one. One that lies trapped under his cabin in the rural hills of Eastern Kentucky. What will happen when two people stand in the way of everything Bud has worked for? How much blood will have to spill?
I actually wound up liking the flick a lot more after reading the synopsis. STASH was written and directed by Jacob Ennis (who does have a nicely-sounding Bluegrass-type name). The cast is rolled up of Karen Boles, Nathan Day, Stacey T. Gillespie, Kevin Taylor, Billy W. Blackwell, Chris Begley, Deborah Tucker, Belinda Cooke, and horror veteran Debbie Rochon.
