Unfortunately not a guide on how Marshall Eriksen plans to dish out his last two slaps on Barney Stinson. Instead, it’s a Universal-planned reunion of Jason Segel with fellow Apatow alumni Jonah Hill to star alongside Jason Schwartzman in THE ADVENTURER’S HANDBOOK.
Co-written by Hill, who’s also revamping 21 Jump Street, the film will follow a group of longtime friends who plan on ditching their city lives to roam the planet, inspired by the actual Mick Conefrey book The Adventurer’s Handbook: Life Lessons From History’s Great Explorers. Nice title. A little long though. Anybody read it? I got bored at “Lessons”.
HOT ROD director Akiva Schaffer is behind the wheel for this one. Kinda nice to see it moving along; Hill and Schwartzman signed on back in February.
