If you’re a Von Trier fan then you’ll be glad to know that the word on MELANCHOLIA, the Danish auteur’s latest examination of how f*cked up we are as humans (with the slight addition of a planet that’s on course to kill everyone), is that it’s pretty great. Movie boner: rising.
And apparently, Kirsten Dunst – pictured below in the film’s new one sheet – gives an excellent performance! Will this help lessen the somewhat odd antagonism that’s so often been directed towards her amongst movie nerds these past, what, 10 years? I don’t know, but she also gets her boobs out which might help.
