Seth Rogen going dramatic with Michelle Williams

JoBloJoBlo

Well, this was bound to happen sooner or later. Seth Rogen has gotten a little tired of the funny, chubby, schlub roles he’s held for so long, and now that he’s all in shape these days, he’s trying to go the dramatic route.

He’s set to star in TAKE THIS WALTZ, Sarah Polley’s script that showed up on the 2009 Black List of the best unproduced screenplays. Opposite Rogen will be Michelle Williams, continuing the man’s blindingly good luck in female co-stars he probably gets to make out with.

After watching OBSERVE AND REPORT, it might not have convinced me Rogen can do drama per se, but that was pretty way out there for Rogen, and besides this film, I’m very curious to see how exactly THE GREEN HORNET’s going to go. Do you think he has it in him to break out of his typecastedness? That’s totally a word, spell check, shut up.
