“I can't believe we are f*cking doing this,” Tweets Seth Rogen after sharing a photo of the Preacher clapperboard, confirming that shooting for the AMC pilot has begun. We’ve been covering every inch of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s live action take on Preacher for months, so it’s nice to finally hear that it’s officially underway. And with that said, I’d imagine we’ll be seeing plenty more from Preacher in no time, so hang in there!

Jesse Custer (Cooper), a conflicted preacher in a small Texas town who merges with a creature that has escaped from heaven and develops the ability to make anyone do anything he says. Along with his ex-girlfriend, Tulip (Ruth Negga), and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun), the three embark on a journey to literally find God.
Preacher stars Dominic Cooper, Lucy Griffiths, Joseph Gilgun, Ruth Negga, W. Earl Brown, Elizabeth Perkins, Ian Colletti, Jamie Anne Allman and Derek Wilson. Preacher will air sometime in 2016 on AMC.
