SH2 still a go

Last week’s report that Roger Avary was not going to be a part of SILENT HILL 2 was never going to be made spawned speculation that is turning out to be false. SH2 is still happening, and this is coming from Avary himself!

STYD had a chance to talk with Avary who clarified the details on the project by saying ‘Silent Hill 2’ isn’t in any kind of trouble, and they didn’t lose their writer since I was never hired to do it in the first place.

Now I can sleep better at night, knowing that SILENT HILL 2 is still moving forwards. Samuel Hadida and Andrew Mason are on board producing, with original director Christophe Gans overseeing the project. Apparently Avary was never attached to the project in the first place, so when he was quoted last week in saying that he won’t be apart of it… well, he was right. Just stating the facts.
