TV Land is currently in the middle of production on their pilot for the anthology series based on Heathers, and an O. G. Heather has paid them a visit! Shannen Doherty, who played second-in-command Heather Duke in the 1988 film, will be playing a mysterious unnamed character in the pilot.

Reimagined as an anthology, Heathers will be set in the present day, as our heroine deals with a very different but equally vicious group of Heathers.

J.D. and Veronica will be played by James Scully and Grace Victoria Cox. Their Heathers will be Melanie Field, Jasmine Matthews, and Brendan Scannell.
The pilot is being directed by Leslye Headland from a script by Jason Micallef.
