Shark Side of the Moon teaser trailer: Tubi Original takes shark thrills into space

The Discovery Channel is currently making its way through the 34th year of Shark Week programming, which will be wrapping up this weekend… just in time for the Tubi streaming service to celebrate their Shark Month: Bitefest throughout the month of August! The month-long programming event will be filled with “heart-pumping, action-packed thrills” including two new Tubi Originals, Shark Bait and Shark Side of the Moon, plus more than seventy other films that will be available to stream. We’ve seen a trailer for Shark Bait (premiering August 1st) before, and now Tubi has unveiled a teaser trailer for Shark Side of the Moon, which is set to reach the streaming service on August 12th. Shark Side of the Moon is coming to us from The Asylum and

travels back in time to the Cold War, when the USSR developed hyper-aggressive humanoid sharks. Unable to kill them, USSR military scientists launched the sharks at the moon. Flash-forward to present day and the first team of American astronauts on the moon in decades must repair a module found on the dark side of the moon, where the astronauts encounter the unkillable Russian moon sharks and endure an epic fight for their lives.

The film stars Reginald William Stalling (Everyone Wants Theirs), Maxi Witrak (Maggie), Terrance Livingston Jr. (JoJo & Pitt), Lydia Hunter (The Deck), Konstantin Podprugin (Walter), Tania Fox (Blade: The Iron Cross), Michael Austin Deni (T-Rex Ranch), Michael Marcel (Sanador: The Healer), Roman Chsherbakov (All Our Dishes), Ego Miktas (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), Lindsey Marie (Bull Shark), and Sandi Todorovic (Coasters).
