Wait… What?! A SHAUN OF THE DEAD TV show? Are you f*cking serious? … Can this even happen?

Well according to Guardian.co.uk it can! But it seems Mr. Simon Pegg says differently. Confused? Check it.

Guardian just hit us with an article that says NBC Universal and it’s UK subsidiary Working Title are planning on bringing a number of Working Title’s feature credits to the small screen for American audiences. The features talked about are BRIDGET JONES’ DIARY, BILLY ELLIOT and NANNY MCPHEE. But wait a minute… What’s one of Working Title’s features? That’s right folks: SHAUN OF THE DEAD!

But alas I can see where people got a little misguided. Guardian’s article just states how SHAUN OF THE DEAD is a Working Title film, not that it’s one of the film’s being adapted to television… yet. Simon Pegg also chimed in to squash this before it gets out of hand via his Twitter:

“Contrary to reports there are no plans for a Shaun Of The Dead TV show. Thought you’d like to know.”

Actually I would like to know Simon! Thanks. Seriously though it’s awesome to see Pegg clearing things up before people really get worked up. So there’s no SHAUN OF THE DEAD TV show heading our way anytime soon. Good! .. Then again you never know in this crazy world.

Would you actually watch a SHAUN OF THE DEAD television show? Without Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost I say nay! And considering how in-demand these guys are, I highly doubt they’ll be tackling a television show anytime soon. What says you guys? Would you be down for a SHAUN OF THE DEAD series? Hit us with your opinions below!
