Bryan Fuller leaves Apple’s Amazing Stories reboot series

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Another week another instance of Bryan Fuller departing his role as showrunner from a series. Last time it was Starz's AMERICAN GODS back in November, and it was STAR TREK: DISCOVERY before that.

And today it looks like Apple’s upcoming reboot of Steven Spielberg’s AMAZING STORIES will have to get by with a new captain, as Deadline is reporting that Fuller split with the rebooted series due to, you guessed it, "creative differences."

Not much else is known at this point other than Fuller hadn't delivered a script before his departure and executive producer Hart Hanson has also exited. What do you make of this bump in the road to more AMAZING STORIES? Make sure to hit us up and let us know in the comments below or on social media.

Series rundown:

This anthology series features unreal fantasy and horror stories a la "The Twilight Zone." Each short story was all-inclusive and many featured famous actors. Steven Spielberg served as executive producer of the show, which aired for two seasons on NBC.

We'll let you know as soon as we hear more.
