It was about 24 hours ago when we learned that Julia Styles would be joining the fifth season of the hit Showtime series “Dexter.” But apparently she won’t be the only hottie in Season 5!
According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed, the gorgeous Julie Benz will also be gracing the latest season of “Dexter.” Why is this news? Well I’ll tell you… But be forwarned: Spoilers lie ahead! I repeat, spoilers lie ahead! Though to be honest it seems like most people know about this particular spoiler… Either way, read with caution!
It seems the end of “Dexter” Season 4 saw the demise of ‘Dexter’s’ wife Rita (played by Benz) at the hands of the ‘Trinity Killer’ (played by John Lithgow). So how is it that Benz will be reprising her role in Season 5? Well speculation has her either popping up in flashbacks or joining ‘Dexter’s’ dead father in having conversations with everyone’s favorite serial killer slash forensics cop. Anytime Julie Benz (below) joins/returns to a project it’s good news in this guy’s book! Anyone else notice how knockout gorgeous she was in BOONDOCK SAINTS 2?
“Dexter” Season 5 is set to begin production this month with September 26th already pegged for the series’ return. As always be sure to keep it here for anything and everything “Dexter” as we hear it!
