I’ll make an easy joke in reference to the above pic: Don’t you hate it when that happens? Actually it’s no laughing matter, as it hits rather close to hime for me. Granted, my expression is usually a bit more, shall we say, perplexed, than Joshua Jasckson’s, but this finally gives the readers a look at what my Friday nights are like (if I’m lucky).
Enough of that – Fangoria scored a few new pics of SHUTTER, which is a remake of the same-named Asian horror film – directed an an Asian horror film director who DIDN’T helm the original. His name is Masayuki Ochiai, and his last movie, INFECTION, is really worth a look – even if it blows it in the final act. At least it isn’t about long-haired ghosties, for crying out loud…
The original SHUTTER is supposed to be a scary flick, I haven’t seen it yet even though it has sat in a pile of “must-watch” DVDs for months now. I’m hesitant to invest time in it, because every time I hear these movies are truly scary, I wind up disappointed (KAIRO anyone?).

SHUTTER, starring Joshua Jackson and the yummy Rachael Taylor (look below if ya don’t believe my word), opens on March 21 – and it might be the last of the J-horror flicks we see for quite a while, so break out the party hats and cowbells (cuz you always need more cowbell).
