Silent Poster Contest

The good folks at TriStar Pictures have just entered themselves into f*ckin’ cool and kick-ass status today with their all new contest which invites YOU (yeah, I’m talkin’ to you…) to design the Official Poster for their upcoming video game adaptation of SILENT HILL!!! How frickin’ cool is that?!


Check out the flick’s Official Site which has all the details of what you can download to help you with your poster creation (shit like photos, cool title treatments, etc…). Now, entries are due January 3rd, which gives you a little under a month to perfect your masterpiece.


Once you’ve turned in your heart and soul, it’ll be posted on the website, and it’s up to the visitors of the site to vote for the ones they like the most! Then, on Jan. 17th, the 50 posters with the most votes will go in front of TriStar executives for another round of voting, back to the site for more voting on the top 5, and finally the unveiling of the chosen design as the official poster on February 22nd. A poster that will not only be seen online, but in every cineplex in the country, and possibly even when it hits video. If that doesn’t boost your design career, I don’t know what else will!
