There’s been a fair amount of will he, won’t he in regards to Bryan Singer directing the upcoming SUPERMAN RETURNS sequel MAN OF STEEL (or is the official name SUPERMAN 2: MAN OF STEEL? I forget). We’ve recently been convinced he had pretty much moved on and left Warner Bros. to bring someone else to take the reins. Apparently, we were wrong. Singer recently had a little chat with Empire Online and he revealed that he’s currently in the process of developing the sequel and has every intention of directing. He says: “…But, yes, I’m just getting back with writers after the strike. We’re just in the development phase. I’m starting to develop a sequel…with the intention of directing it.” Coolness.
