The folks over at Blairwitch.de scored some new pics from THE SKELETON KEY for your perusal. Nothing overly exciting about them, but you do get further evidence of the eerie, humid atmosphere of a bayou based horror flick. Yummy! Plus it never hurts to take a gander at the lovely Kate Hudson, even when she is dressed like a hippy.
If you’re unfamiliar, the story of this musty tale goes like this: Set largely in the dark backwoods just outside of New Orleans, The Skeleton Key stars Hudson as Caroline, a live-in nurse hired to care for an elderly woman’s (Geena Rowlands) ailing husband (John Hurt) in their home…a foreboding and decrepit mansion in the Louisiana delta. Intrigued by the enigmatic couple and their rambling house, Caroline beings to explore the old mansion. Armed with a skeleton key that unlocks every door, she discovers a hidden attic room that holds a deadly and terrifying secret.
