Slade disses Twilight

This is too good to ignore. Slashfilm dug up an audioclip from a few months ago of director David Slade (whom I’m writing an awful lot about lately) taking a piss on TWILIGHT. Sure, he’s not the first person to do it, but it’s kinda awkward now that he’s set to DIRECT A F*CKING TWILIGHT MOVIE!!!

The clip is from an interview he gave with the “BDK Movie Show” on WJFK in Washington. Head on over HERE to give it a listen, but it basically goes something like this:

“Twilight drunk? No, not even drunk. Twilight on acid? No, not even on acid. Twilight at gun point? Just shoot me.”

This of course was Slade’s reaction to the prospect of seeing TWILIGHT when it was in theaters. Cut to a few months later and the man is attached to direct ECLIPSE, the third book in the series. Maybe he’ll have a tab of acid in his mouth the whole time…
