It’s just been announced that
SLAUGHTER NIGHT will be playing at the

Toronto After Dark Film Festival

which happens later this month in, well Toronto. This Dutch flick is
about a group of teens who travel into a coal mine to contact the spirit of a
serial killer who died there in the 1800’s. Unfortunately for them, the spirit
is not to happy to be awoken subsequently possessing the kiddies and begins his serial
killing ways once again. The movie is based on the fact that during the 1800’s,
criminals in the Netherlands who were given the death sentence had a choice
between execution or carrying a lit torch into a coal mine to ignite the gas
within. If one were to survive the blast, they would be free. (It should come as
no surprise to anyone that everyone who ever did this died.) Click

here to find out more
about the plot and cast, and be sure to check out the site above to find out
what else is playing at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival.
