Small details regarding Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman revealed

I’m fairly confidant that none of us expected Christopher Nolan to take a page out of Pitof’s book when it comes to Catwoman, Batman’s latest foe (or friend?) in next summer’s THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. In the laughable 2004 film starring Halle Berry, the Catwoman costume – while undeniably proficient at displaying Berry’s ample curves – was one of the movie’s many glaringly ridiculous gaffes. While Nolan’s vision for the character has not been revealed in full yet (nor will it be for quite a while, in all likelihood), we may finally have an idea of what the slinky kitty will look like.

Hollywoodlife.com received some details on the Cat via “a source very close to the costume design”. Read on!

“Anne’s outfit is more tactical, like the comic book, than the previous Batman movies. She will definitely be wearing the goggles and it’s going to be less sexy than Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman costumes. She’s going to look more like a robber.”

“But fan boys shouldn’t be worried. This costume is going to be form-fitting enough to make Anne look smoking hot.”

Whew, there’s a load off… My mind…

It’s going to be very interesting to see how Nolan handles the character, but I have faith. No matter what he does, though, it’s going to be pretty tough to top what Michelle Pfeiffer did in Tim Burton’s BATMAN RETURNS. We’ll see it all in motion on JULY 20, 2012.
