A couple months ago we learned that Oscar Isaac would be headlining a thriller coming our way called INERTIA. You guys remember that? The thing should have caught your eye because it’s an intriguing little collaboration between Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego and Jaume Collet-Serra!
That’s right folks. Two of the industry’s up and coming filmmakers teaming up to bring us a high-speed thriller. I can dig that. Now we already know that Isaac will be starring for director Lopez-Gallego (right) with Collet-Serra producing… but who’s going to be the hottie toplining this thing?! Thanks to Variety we’ve got our answer: Spanish actress Elena Anaya! Anaya will play Isaac’s ex g.f. with the duo’s predicament rekindling the relationship. Here’s the rundown for INERTIA:
Oscar Isaac stars in “Inertia” as an immigrant who witnesses a fatal hit-and-run and pursues the mysterious car in a non-stop chase.
Spain’s Roxbury Pictures and Jaume Collet-Serra’s L.A.-based Ombra Films are producing this one with a script from Lopez-Gallego and regular co-scribe Fernando Navarro. Production on INERTIA is set to kick-off starting late August in Barcelona, Aragon and Andalusia.
