Spike Jonze’s latest short I’m Here now online

JoBloJoBlo

Spike Jonze’s latest short film I’M HERE debuted at the Sundance Film Festival and recently ran at SXSW and now, finally, is online for everyone to enjoy. It’s a 30-minute short so you need so time to set aside but it’s well worth it. Described as a “robot love story,” the film follows two robots (in a world where robots and humans co-exist) who fall in love and…well no spoilers here. But the film is heavily influenced by Shel Silverstein’s heartbreaking classic “The Giving Tree.”

You’ll have to head over to the film’s official site to check it out but rest assured, it’s well worth it. It’s slightly depressing, as all heartbreaking love stories are, but a beautiful piece of work. Enjoy!
