Spike’s new pics

It’s been ages and ages since I last heard something on the horrific, fairy-tale-inspired piece called SPIKE. Thankfully, some new info has now surfaced in the sharp shape of some brand new stills as well as a U.S. premier! First off, I’ll blow through the pics.

The one up top is of star cutie, Sarah Livingston Evans. It’s kind of too darkened to decipher anything other than the fact that Evans is cute. We get even less on the image below, but at least it represents a pretty cool silhouette.

As for the premier, it’s happening this Saturday, May 16th, at 8:45 p.m. as part of the Berkshire International Film Festival in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. If you’re going to be in the area and feel like grabbing your self a ticket, you can click here. Here’s what the flick is about:

Love bends wills, endures, and kills. A young woman finds herself trapped in a nightmarish fairy tale come true, and must rescue her friends from a strange creature who idolizes her and will have her at any cost. “There is always some madness in love….”

SPIKE was written and directed by Robert Beaucage and in addition to Evans, stars Jared Edwards, Anna-Marie Wayne, Nancy P. Corbo, and Edward Gusts as ol’ SPIKE himself. Beaucate will begin seeking North American distribution right after the premier.
