Spooky Beacon

First off, that’s one hell of a f*cked-up pic above! It’s a brand new image from the ghostly horror flick THE BEACON which Mr. Ammon last wrote about way back here. And for some further good news, the first trailer from the flick is now up over at Fango and I suggest you click right here to check it out. Though much of it may seem like similar spooky fare, there are some effectively creepy cuts! Plus, it doesn’t hurt having a delicious MILF-supreme like Ms. Teri Polo (below) as your star. Now, have a bite out of the plot:

Bryn and Paul Shaw, who are trying to put their life back together following the death of their son. After they move into the Beacon Apartments, Bryn starts experiencing visions of a little boy who died there, and comes to believe that freeing his spirit will allow her to contact her own dead son through him.

Yeah, it may sound slightly like Jennifer Connelly’s DARK WATER, but that flick was a snooze-fest and BEACON looks much brighter. Plus, WATER didn’t have Mr. Michael Ironside playing a grizzled career cop!

BEACON was written and directed by Michael Stokes and in addition to Polo and Ironside, stars David Rees Snell and Michael Urie. It’s set to release some time in 2009.
