AVATAR and "Terra Nova" star Stephen Lang has joined the cast of the Stephen King adaptation A GOOD MARRIAGE, according to Heat Vision. Lang joins the previously announced Joan Allen, Kristen Connolly and Anthony LaPaglia in the Peter Askin-helmed film.

From the anthology "Full Dark, No Stars", A GOOD MARRIAGE has the following synopsis:

When her husband of more than twenty years is away on one of his business trips, Darcy Anderson looks for batteries in the garage. Her toe knocks up against a box under a worktable and she discovers the stranger inside her husband. It’s a horrifying discovery, rendered with bristling intensity, and it definitively ends a good marriage.

Lang will play a retired investigator from the Maine Attorney General’s office who is obsessed with solving the crime.

Askin will helm the project from a screenplay written by Stephen King himself. More on A GOOD MARRIAGE as it comes in.
