Back at the beginning of the week we told you all about a juicy little casting update on Pascal Laugier’s THE TALL MAN. I know you guys remember that because the flick stars the gorgeous Jessica Biel… and whenever Biel’s name is mentioned it’s our sworn duty as males to pay attention. That’s how I know you’re also following right along with today’s update… So let’s get to it!
The guys over at Bloody-Disgusting just learned that veteran actor Stephen McHattie is the latest name to join the mysterious project. Actually… the project isn’t very mysterious… but it can only grow in value with a name like McHattie (above) joining production! The actor joins the previously announced Biel (below), Teach Grant, William B. Davis, Samantha Ferris and Jodelle Ferland. Biel will star in the flick which sports a synopsis looking something like this:
THE TALL MAN centers on a woman who grapples with and tracks the mysterious figure of The Tall Man who has kidnapped her child. It is a ‘woman in jeopardy’ movie with a lot of twists and a strong female character that you feel very connected to.
Intriguing, right? Considering this is the ‘dream project’ of the guy that brought us MARTYRS I think it’s safe to say this one should be worth checking out. THE TALL MAN is set to start filming this month in Vancouver, BC so hopefully more news on the project breaks soon.
