Everyone’s favorite sexy Fed Gillian Anderson has been off the popular radar recently, showing up in less-flashy, but respectable (read: British) fare like THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND and BBC’s BLEAK HOUSE. But her newest project, also from the UK, sounds more in line with what she should be doing: kicking bad-guy ass with a vengeance.

STRAIGHTHEADS is about a middle class couple (Anderson and Danny Dyer) whose life is turned upside down when they are violently assaulted one night while coming home from a party. Afterward, they set out to wreak bloody havoc on those that tormented them. Dunno bout you, but I want to see Agent Scully in full-on I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE/MS. 45 mode.
