Strange indie Scars

It’s time for your daily dose of “out-there” indie horror! This upcoming, freaky cut-up is called SCARS OF YOUTH and it’s arriving courtesy of John R. Hand (writer/director of the bizarre FRANKENSTEIN’S BLOODY NIGHTMARE). Let’s just get straight to the plot:

In a post-apocalyptic world 200 years from now, a young man living in a decaying wreck of a cabin in the woods struggles to come to terms with his bleak existence while trying to save his mother from a strange, deathless world.

Well, that certainly qualifies as “out-there” in my opinion. And that pic from the flick above sure seems creepy (for 1 other image and 1 NSFW image, click here). You can also check out an intentionally funny (I think) teaser trailer for the film here, which shows Hand attempting to explain the plot to a group of children.

SCARS OF YOUTH is currently in production without a set release date yet. The moment something jumps out at me, I’ll let you know.
