Street Fighter: Noah Centineo, 50 Cent, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes talk to us at the world premiere

Last Updated on October 20, 2026

This weekend marks the release of Paramount’s big-budget Street Fighter reboot. Well… perhaps reboot isn’t quite the right word. Rather, it’s an adaptation of the classic arcade game, Street Fighter II, which any child of the nineties can tell you they played to death, whether it was in the arcade, where they shelled out quarter after quarter, or at home on Sega Genesis or Super Nintendo. Everyone had their favourite fighter, and chances are you spent plenty of time arguing with your friends over who was the best.

But it’s not the first Street Fighter movie. There was the JCVD-led 1994 movie that many fans hated (even though it’s become a cult classic), while, the same year, an anime called Street Fighter II: The Movie was much better received. Suffice to say, this new version has plenty to live up to, especially for those of us who grew up loving these characters.

At any rate, Paramount is hoping for a franchise, and they rolled out the big guns in Los Angeles for the world premiere Monday night. JoBlo’s own Ryan Cultrera was lucky enough to attend for us. While there, he got to speak to many of the movie’s stars, including the future John Rambo, Noah Centineo, who plays Ken, as well as WWE legends Roman Reigns (Akuma) and the one and only Cody Rhodes, who is magnificently coiffed as the game’s classic character, Guile.

Plus, we also spoke to none other than 50 Cent, who plays Balrog, as well as Bollywood action star Vidyut Jammwal, who plays Dhalsim (truthfully, the character I loved playing most as a kid). We also chatted with director Kitao Sakurai and many more.

Check out the video embedded above, (and pics from the premiere below) and let us know which fighter you’re most excited to see brought to life this time around!
